I looked up the definition of purpose and here is what I found -
1.The reason for which something exists, is done, made, used
2. An intended or desired result; end; aim; goal.
3. Determination; resoluteness.
4. To set as an aim, intention, or goal for oneself.
5. To intend; design.
6. To resolve (to do something):
Purpose is not always discovered over night, some people take weeks, months or years to discover their God given purpose in life. It's important to realise that you have been placed on this earth for a reason which unfolds day by day. Each day is leading you closer and closer to what you are blessed to do on earth.
Don't feel down if you haven't discovered your purpose yet, it will become clearer and clearer day by day. It's important to keep walking towards your goals and to keep doing what you love. If you carry on doing what you love, you'll always love what you do. Often our purpose is discovered in the things that we do naturally and effortlessly. By effortlessly, I don't mean that work isn't required, I'm saying that we 'just do it' and it doesn't feel like a burden.
Ask yourself, what it is you love to do? Why do you enjoy doing it? Could you see yourself doing it for the rest of your life?
When you ask yourself these questions, you'll see that purpose is often revealed through passion. So keep walking towards your purpose, don't make it difficult, don't over think it. While walking towards your purpose, don't forget to be yourself because if you try to be something you are not, you will actually push yourself away from discovering your purpose.
Don't let other discourage you.Often other people try to limit us and put us in boxes but don't let anyone stop you while you are discovering your journey and finding your purpose. When you find your purpose you will feel fulfilled.
Stand tall and firm and believe that each day is a new addition to the puzzle called 'Purpose'. God has placed us on earth for a season and for a reason, keep walking and discover your treasure which is purpose.
Discovering purpose reminds me of a treasure hunt, the clues are revealed in each day.
