Ask yourself, what good is it holding onto negative emotions, negative energy and people that bring their negativity towards you.
Whether we like it or not, our aura is transmissible, the way we feel can easily impact another person. If you are happy then it is more likely that you are going to influence someone else's happiness, but if you are holding onto negative emotions and negative people then you will also be influenced in that way. Some negative emotions can not be helped or avoided because life happens but I'm talking about the negativity that can be avoided and eliminated.
Negative emotions are things like bitterness, un-forgiveness, unnecessary prolonged anger and even the words you speak can be negative. I am someone who prefers to be around people who bring out the best in me and I find that I also do my best to be a positive person.
If you are having a bad day, you don't need to ruin the day for every one around you, instead try to diffuse and understand what is causing you to have a bad day. Once you understand your emotions and your thought process it will be a little easier to get rid of the negativity that constantly tries to weigh you down.
Let go of negativity because it won't do you any good at all, instead give out what you would love to receive. Share a smile, make a up of tea for your colleague, buy a book for someone who is going through a hard time, do what you can do to help someone else have a better day.
You know exactly what negativity is in your life at the moment and you need to get rid of it before it gets rid of you. We are human and there will be times that we are down, but I'm not talking about downtime, I'm talking about the constant surge of negative energy that is brought to your life. There are many negative sources around us and it is our responsibility to ourselves to ensure that we are happy.
You owe it to yourself to be happy so get rid of the negativity before it gets rid of you.
